This is the theme for our capital campaign - highlighting the purpose, which is to
build a way for all people to participate more fully in the life of United Church - from church members to visitors to community groups who

phase 1 - christian education building
The CE Building - An elevator was installed in the former courtyard,
which has been enclosed and is now a very welcoming vestibule for
gatherings. The Nursery and Children's classrooms were moved to the
middle level, making them more convenient for parent drop-off. The
staff offices were consolidated to the lower level. A fire suppression system was installed.
phase 2 - Sanctuary
A grand entrance portale was built on the west end of Fellowship
Hall, making it very easy to find your way in! A restroom addition was
built at the rear, and handicap and regular parking off Rose Street
behind the Sanctuary was greatly expanded. A new wood floor was
installed in the Sanctuary, an enclosing wall was built to delineate the
Sanctuary space, and a Coffee Bar was added in Fellowship Hall. Stairs were built to
access the Sound Booth. A fire suppression system was installed, and an emergency exit was added next to the organ console.
