TFFN (THursday faith & family Night)

TFFN is our weekly program for young people grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.  We pick up our young people from the elementary schools and bring them back to Craig Hall for snacks, an introductory activity and focus time on Group Study, Drama, Music, or Hand Chimes.  We close with a brief prayer time promptly at 5:05 pm.  On the first Thursday of the month we have a meal together.  Meal time allows everyone the opportunity to chat and build relationships.  The entire family (younger/older siblings, parents) is welcome to come and participate!

mid-school donut run

"Donuts are a very healthy part of a balanced. . ." um, "a donut a day helps. . ." scratch that train of thought.  Who isn't fond of a donut or two on an early school morning?  Toss in the opportunity to sit with church friends, laugh and relax before school starts and you have a recipe for a good day at the Mid School.  Donut Run begins with young people climbing in the church van at 7am in White Rock and coming up the hill to meet the LA crew at Morning Glory Donuts at 7:20am.  We take over the dining room briefly with our bunch as we scarf about three dozen donuts and then hop into the church van for the ride to the Mid School.

High School Lunch (Sketchy lunch)

Life in High School can be a bit challenging at times.  It never hurts to see a friendly face and share a quick bite to eat.  The goal of lunch on campus is simple. . . for me to be able to "check-in" with our kids and see how they are doing.  If I am able to see them at church, out in the community, and on campus for lunch from time to time it allows me to build a friendly relationship that allows for honest conversation.  Pizza (food in general) never hurts either.  Lunch is taken to LAHS every Thursday at the Morning Glory Bakery parking lot.
