Where have you been?” (community) These questions involve shelter, food, water, air, and community—all themes for our Vacation Bible School Compassion Camp. Each Sunday in August, from 11-1, we will explore what every living thing needs—and discover ways that we can help meet those needs with compassion while celebrating the gifts of God’s creation. Together, we will dive into Scripture, learn new music, create an altar-scape, practice yoga, do some forest bathing, serve members of our community in need, try our hand at poetry, tell our faith stories, share lunch, create some lovely artwork together and much more.

Signs of spring give us hope and remind us of God's promise. Join us Sunday mornings at 8:30 am for a brief prayer time, and then for worship and fellowship starting at 9:30 am.

Hard At Work! Pictures from the recent Dignity Mission assembly party at the United Church of Los Alamos.  16 volunteers packed 300 dignity kits in about an hour.  These kits will be transported to Placitas next Friday, to El Paso on Saturday and immediately distributed to facilities housing immigrants both in El Paso and Juarez.

Join the United Church children's Sunday school for Bible Quest! All elementary age kids are welcome. We will be studying the stories that Jesus told, learning through drama, cooking, art, and music in our Bible Quest classes on Sunday mornings at 11.

The annual United Church congregational meeting and Souper Bowl of Caring drive was a great event! Thanks to all who helped make this fundraiser happier and feed us some amazing food!

This week at the United Church, the children's church kiddos put pictures of Jesus all over for people to find. You never know where you might find Him!

This week at Bible Quest the kids learned about Jesus going to the temple when he was twelve and getting separated from his parents, causing great worry! He told them “I was in my Father’s House”. The Bible Quest group has done fun activities learning different aspects of the story and the ways we continue to seek Jesus in our lives.

Epiphany celebration and service project this past Sunday at The United Church of Los Alamos. The hand tied baby blankets are going to the Crisis Center of Northern New Mexico.

United Church Dignity Mission volunteers made handmade dignity bags, filled with children's items, and they are now en route to be delivered at the El Paso border. 223 Christmas bags were filled with stuffed toys, stickers, crayons and small coloring book, a small car or truck and a snack bag with child-sized toothbrush, toothpaste and bandaids, also a candy cane and Christmas card with hand-written message in Spanish.
